Role Overview
As a Pet Bather in our Flagstaff, AZ location, you'll engage pet parents and their pets, delivering exceptional salon services like baths, brushes, nail trims, and more. Uphold safety standards, recommend wellness solutions, and contribute to store cleanliness for positive experiences every visit.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete PetSmart’s Splash training and safety certification.
- Handle check-in/out, reservations, and pet parent interactions in-person/phone/register.
- Independently perform full bath/brush menu and standalone services per standards.
- Identify and address sick/injured pets, transporting to vet if needed.
- Maintain cleanliness, recommend merchandise/services, and assist other departments.
Experience & Skills
Entry-level role requiring pet handling passion, computer proficiency, pressure composure, schedule flexibility (evenings/weekends/holidays), organizational detail, and strong communication. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing/walking, wet/hairy environments, and animal exposure. Depth perception and moderate-high noise required.
