Role Overview
PetSmart's Professional Bather delivers exceptional grooming services, engages pet parents, and maintains salon standards. This entry-level role offers hands-on pet care experience in a fast-paced retail setting, with flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete Splash training and perform full bath/brush services, nail trims, and sanitary care per PetSmart standards.
- Greet pet parents, handle check-in/out, reservations, and recommend health/wellness solutions.
- Ensure pet safety, report issues, and transport to vet if needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and assist across departments while following all policies.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have strong communication, organizational skills, computer proficiency, and composure under pressure. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, and working in a wet, pet-filled environment with moderate noise.
