Role Overview

As a Pet Bather in Flint, Michigan, you'll engage pet parents and their pets, delivering salon services like baths, brushes, nail trims, and more. Uphold PetSmart’s vision while ensuring pet safety, store cleanliness, and exceptional customer experiences. This entry-level role offers flexibility and growth in pet retail.

Key Responsibilities

Core Salon Duties

• Independently perform full bath/brush services per PetSmart standards.
• Handle check-in/out, reservations, and pet parent interactions.
• Identify and address sick/injured pets, transporting to vet if needed.

Customer & Safety Focus

• Greet pet parents, answer questions, recommend health solutions.
• Maintain safe environments for associates, pets, and customers.
• Ensure store cleanliness and assist other departments as required.

Experience & Skills

No prior experience required—complete our Splash training! Ideal candidates have strong communication, organizational skills, and comfort with physical demands like lifting 50+ lbs, standing, and working in wet/noisy environments with animals. Flexible availability for evenings, weekends, holidays essential. Proficiency in computers and composure under pressure a plus.
