Role Overview
As a Pet Bather in our Flowood, Mississippi store, you'll deliver exceptional salon services, engage pet parents, and ensure pet safety. This entry-level role offers hands-on pet care experience with flexible scheduling and room for advancement.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete Splash training and perform full bath/brush services, nail trims, and more per PetSmart standards.
- Greet pet parents, handle check-in/out, reservations, and recommend wellness solutions.
- Maintain salon/store cleanliness and take action on sick/injured pets, including vet transport.
- Upsell merchandise/services while upholding safety and company policies.
- Assist other departments and participate in recognition programs.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have pet passion, customer service skills, computer proficiency, and flexibility for evenings/weekends/holidays. Must lift 50+ lbs, stand extensively, and thrive in a fast-paced, pet-filled environment with moderate noise and wet conditions.
