Role Overview

The Pet Bather role is perfect for animal lovers seeking an entry-level position in pet retail. You'll deliver professional bathing services, engage pet parents, and maintain salon standards in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays is essential, with physical demands including lifting up to 50lbs and working in a wet, pet-filled space.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete PetSmart’s Splash training and safety certification.
• Perform full bath/brush services, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary care per company standards.
• Handle check-in/out, reservations, and provide exceptional pet parent experiences.
• Ensure pet safety, report issues, and transport sick pets to vets as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness, recommend products, and assist other departments.

Experience & Skills

No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have strong communication, organizational skills, computer proficiency, and composure under pressure. Passion for pets, attention to safety, and physical stamina for standing, lifting, and handling animals in a noisy, wet environment are key.
