Role Overview
As a Pet Bather, you'll deliver exceptional salon services, engage pet parents, and ensure pet safety. This entry-level role offers hands-on pet care experience in a dynamic retail environment, with flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete Splash training and perform full bath/brush, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary services per PetSmart standards.
- Greet pet parents, handle check-in/out, reservations, and recommend wellness solutions.
- Maintain cleanliness, monitor pet health, and assist across departments as needed.
- Uphold safety for pets, associates, and customers; transport sick pets to vet if required.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have pet-handling comfort, customer service skills, computer proficiency, and composure under pressure. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, and working in wet, noisy environments with animals.
