Role Overview
As a Pet Bather in our Frisco store, you'll deliver exceptional salon services, engage pet parents, and ensure pet safety. This entry-level role offers hands-on pet care experience with flexible scheduling, perfect for animal lovers seeking rewarding retail careers.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete PetSmart’s Splash training and safety certification.
- Perform full bath/brush services, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary shaves per standards.
- Handle check-in/out, greet pet parents, manage reservations, and provide consultations.
- Maintain cleanliness, recommend wellness solutions, and sell merchandise.
- Ensure safe environments; respond to sick/injured pets and assist other departments.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have computer proficiency, strong communication, organizational skills, and composure under pressure. Must lift 50+ lbs, stand extensively, and work evenings/weekends/holidays. Passion for pets and customer service essential.
Physical Demands
Role involves standing, lifting up to 50 lbs (team lift 100+ lbs), exposure to wet environments, pet hair, noise, and live animals. Depth perception required; reasonable accommodations available.
