Role Overview
As a Pet Bather in our Goldsboro, NC location, you'll engage pet parents and their pets, delivering exceptional salon services like bathing, brushing, nail trims, and more. Uphold PetSmart's vision by ensuring pet safety, recommending solutions, and maintaining a clean environment. This entry-level role offers flexibility and impact in a fun, pet-loving atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities
Service Delivery
- Independently perform full menu of bath/brush services per PetSmart standards.
- Handle check-in/out procedures and salon reservations.
Customer & Pet Care
- Greet pet parents, answer questions, and recommend wellness products.
- Ensure safe environment; respond to sick/injured pets immediately.
Operations
- Maintain store cleanliness and assist other departments.
- Complete Splash training and follow all policies.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have strong communication, organizational skills, computer proficiency, and flexibility for evenings/weekends/holidays. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, and working in a wet, pet-hair-filled environment with moderate noise.
