Role Overview

PetSmart's Professional Pet Bather delivers exceptional salon services, engages pet parents, and upholds safety standards. This entry-level role involves hands-on pet care, customer interactions, and store support in a dynamic retail environment. Ideal for animal lovers seeking flexible, rewarding work.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete Splash training and perform full bath/brush, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary services per PetSmart standards.
• Greet pet parents, handle check-in/out, reservations, and recommend wellness solutions/merchandise.
• Maintain salon/store cleanliness and ensure safe environments for pets, associates, and customers.
• Identify and act on sick/injured pets, transporting to vets as needed; assist other departments.
• Follow all policies, participate in recognition programs, and drive positive pet parent experiences.

Experience & Skills

No prior experience required—training provided. Seeking pet enthusiasts with computer proficiency, pressure-handling ability, flexible availability (evenings/weekends/holidays), organizational skills, attention to safety/detail, and strong communication. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, stooping in wet/noisy pet environments.
