Role Overview

As a Pet Bather in our Greenfield, Indiana location, you'll engage pet parents and their pets, delivering exceptional salon services while upholding PetSmart’s vision, mission, values, and safety standards. Share responsibility for store cleanliness and recommend wellness solutions to enhance pet lives.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete PetSmart’s Splash training and safety certification.
• Perform full bath/brush services, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary care per company standards.
• Handle check-in/out, greet pet parents, answer questions, and manage reservations.
• Ensure safe environments, respond to sick/injured pets, and transport to vets as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness, sell merchandise/services, and assist other departments.

Experience & Skills

No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates demonstrate pet handling comfort, customer service prowess, organizational skills, attention to safety, and communication abilities. Flexibility for evenings, weekends, holidays essential. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, stooping in wet, noisy, pet-filled environments.
