Role Overview
As a Pet Bather in our Griffin store, you'll deliver exceptional salon services, ensuring positive experiences for pets and parents. This entry-level role involves bathing, brushing, nail trims, and more, while upholding safety standards and store cleanliness. Flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays is key in this dynamic pet retail environment.
Essential Physical Demands
Expect to stand, walk, lift up to 50lbs (team lift 100lbs+), handle pets in wet/hairy conditions, and climb ladders. Moderate to high noise levels and exposure to animals are common.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete Splash training and perform full bath/brush services per standards.
- Greet pet parents, manage check-in/out, reservations, and sales.
- Recommend products/services based on pet needs; sell merchandise.
- Maintain safety for pets/associates/parents; handle sick pets immediately.
- Assist other departments and uphold cleanliness.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have strong communication, organization, computer skills, and composure under pressure. Passion for pets and customer focus essential.
