Role Overview
As a Pet Bather in our Guaynabo location, you'll deliver exceptional grooming services while ensuring positive experiences for pet parents and their furry companions. This entry-level role emphasizes pet safety, salon excellence, and customer engagement in a dynamic retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete PetSmart’s Splash training and safety certification.
- Perform full bath/brush services, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary shaves per company standards.
- Handle check-in/out, reservations, and pet parent consultations in-person and via phone.
- Maintain salon/store cleanliness and recommend wellness products.
- Ensure pet safety, respond to emergencies, and assist across departments as needed.
Experience & Skills
No prior grooming experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have strong communication skills, organizational prowess, computer proficiency, and flexibility for evenings, weekends, holidays. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, and working in a pet-filled environment with moderate noise.
