Role Overview
As a Pet Bather, you'll engage pet parents, deliver exceptional salon services like baths, brushes, nail trims, and more. Uphold safety standards, maintain cleanliness, and contribute to positive pet experiences in a dynamic retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete Splash training and perform full grooming services per PetSmart standards.
- Handle check-in/out, greet customers, answer questions, and manage reservations.
- Ensure safe environment; respond to sick/injured pets and transport to vet if needed.
- Recommend products/services and assist in other store departments.
- Maintain cleanliness and follow all company policies.
Experience & Skills
Entry-level role requiring pet handling comfort, customer service skills, organizational prowess, and flexibility for evenings/weekends/holidays. Proficiency in computers, strong communication, and ability to lift 50+ lbs essential. Exposed to wet environments, pet hair, and moderate noise.
