Role Overview
As a Pet Bather in our Hamilton, Ontario location, you'll engage pet parents and pets, deliver salon services, uphold safety standards, and contribute to store cleanliness. This entry-level role offers flexibility, development, and the joy of pampering pets daily.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete PetSmart’s Splash training and safety certification.
- Handle check-in/out, reservations, and pet parent consultations in-person or by phone.
- Perform full bath/brush, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary services per standards.
- Recommend health/wellness solutions and merchandise.
- Ensure safe environment; act on sick/injured pets and maintain cleanliness.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—training provided. Need proficiency in computers, composure under pressure, flexible scheduling (evenings/weekends/holidays), organizational skills, attention to safety/detail, and strong communication. Physical demands include lifting 50lbs (team lift 100lbs+), standing, wet/hairy environments, and animal handling.
