Role Overview
As a Pet Bather in our Harrisburg, PA location, you'll engage pet parents and their pets, delivering salon services while upholding PetSmart’s vision, mission, values, and safety standards. Share responsibility for store cleanliness and recommend wellness solutions. This entry-level role offers flexibility and rewards your love for animals.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete PetSmart’s Splash training and safety certification.
- Handle check-in/out, greet pet parents, answer questions, and manage reservations.
- Perform full menu of bath/brush services, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary care per standards.
- Ensure safe environments; transport sick/injured pets to vet as needed.
- Recommend merchandise/services and maintain store cleanliness.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have computer proficiency, composure under pressure, flexible scheduling (evenings/weekends/holidays), organizational skills, attention to safety, and strong communication. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, stooping in a wet, pet-hair-filled environment with moderate noise.
