Role Overview
As a Pet Bather in Hatillo, Puerto Rico, you'll engage pet parents and pets, deliver salon services like baths, brushes, nail trims, and more, while upholding safety, cleanliness, and PetSmart's vision. Share in store operations, recommend solutions, and contribute to a culture of belonging.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete Splash training and safety certification.
- Handle check-in/out, greet parents, manage reservations.
- Perform full bath/brush menu independently per standards.
- Ensure pet safety; transport sick pets to vet if needed.
- Maintain cleanliness, assist other departments, follow policies.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—training provided. Need computer proficiency, composure under pressure, flexible scheduling (evenings/weekends/holidays), organizational skills, attention to safety/detail, and strong communication. Physical demands: lift 50lbs (team lift 100lbs+), stand/walk, handle pets in wet/hairy/noisy environments.
