Role Overview

The Pet Bather role is perfect for animal lovers who thrive in a fast-paced environment. You'll deliver professional bathing services, engage pet parents, and ensure top safety standards. This entry-level position offers hands-on experience in pet care with paths to grooming or management advancement.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete PetSmart’s Splash training and safety certification.
• Perform full bath/brush services, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary care per company standards.
• Handle check-in/out, greet pet parents, answer questions, and manage salon reservations.
• Maintain a safe environment, respond to sick/injured pets, and recommend wellness solutions/merchandise.
• Uphold store cleanliness and assist other departments as needed.

Experience & Skills

No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have strong organizational skills, attention to safety, and flexibility for evenings, weekends, holidays. Proficiency in computers, composure under pressure, and excellent communication are essential. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, and working in a wet, pet-filled environment.
