Role Overview
As a Pet Bather in our Hillsboro, Oregon store, you'll deliver exceptional grooming services while engaging pet parents. Uphold safety standards, recommend solutions, and contribute to store cleanliness. This entry-level role offers hands-on pet care experience with flexible scheduling.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete PetSmart’s Splash training and safety certification.
- Perform full bath/brush services, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary care per standards.
- Handle check-in/out, reservations, and pet parent interactions.
- Identify and address sick/injured pets, ensuring safe transport if needed.
- Maintain salon/store cleanliness and assist other departments.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have strong organizational skills, attention to safety, and communication abilities. Must lift 50+ lbs, stand for shifts, and work in pet hair/wet environments. Flexible availability for evenings, weekends, holidays essential.
