Role Overview

Our Professional Pet Bather delivers exceptional salon services, engages pet parents, and upholds safety standards. This entry-level role involves hands-on pet care in a dynamic retail environment, sharing store cleanliness duties and recommending wellness solutions. Ideal for animal lovers seeking flexible, rewarding work.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete PetSmart’s Splash training and safety certification.
• Perform full bath/brush services, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary care per company standards.
• Handle check-in/out, greet pet parents, answer questions, and manage reservations.
• Ensure safe environments; respond to sick/injured pets by transporting to vet if needed.
• Maintain cleanliness, sell merchandise/services, and assist other departments.

Experience & Skills

No prior experience required – training provided! Success demands pet handling comfort, customer service prowess, organizational skills, communication excellence, and flexibility for evenings/weekends/holidays. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing/walking, and working in wet, noisy settings with animals.
