Role Overview

As a Pet Bather in our Houston, Texas salon, you'll engage pet parents and their furry friends, delivering top-tier bathing services while upholding PetSmart's vision of exceptional pet care. Share responsibility for store cleanliness, safety, and recommending wellness solutions in a fast-paced, pet-filled setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Master PetSmart’s Splash training and safety certification for expert bath/brush services including nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary care.
• Drive positive pet parent experiences via greetings, reservations, check-in/out, and personalized recommendations.
• Maintain a safe environment, respond immediately to sick/injured pets, and transport to vets as needed.
• Ensure store cleanliness, sell merchandise/services, and assist other departments while following all policies.

Experience & Skills

No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates bring pet passion, computer proficiency, composure under pressure, schedule flexibility (evenings/weekends/holidays), organizational skills, and strong communication. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, stooping in a wet, noisy, pet-hair-filled environment with live animals.
