Role Overview
As a Pet Bather in our Houston, Texas location, you'll engage pet parents and pets, delivering top-tier salon services while upholding safety standards and store cleanliness. This entry-level role offers hands-on pet care experience in a dynamic retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete PetSmart’s Splash training and safety certification.
- Perform full menu of bath, brush, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary services per company standards.
- Handle check-in/out, greet pet parents, answer questions, and manage reservations.
- Ensure safe environment; identify and act on sick/injured pets, including vet transport.
- Recommend merchandise/services, maintain cleanliness, and assist other departments.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have pet handling comfort, customer service skills, computer proficiency, and flexibility for evenings/weekends/holidays. Must lift 50+ lbs, stand extensively, and thrive in a fast-paced, pet-filled setting with moderate noise and wet conditions.
