Role Overview
PetSmart’s Professional Pet Bather delivers exceptional salon services, engages pet parents, and upholds safety/cleanliness standards. This entry-level role in our Houston store involves hands-on pet care, customer interactions, and contributing to a welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete Splash training and safety certification.
- Perform full bath/brush, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary services per standards.
- Handle check-in/out, greet parents, answer questions, manage reservations.
- Recommend wellness solutions, sell merchandise/services.
- Maintain cleanliness, ensure safety, assist with sick pets, and support other departments.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have pet passion, customer service skills, computer proficiency, composure under pressure, flexible scheduling, organizational detail, and strong communication. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, wet/hairy environments, moderate-high noise, and animal handling.
