Role Overview
As a Pet Bather in our Houston, TX location, you'll deliver exceptional salon services, engage pet parents, and uphold safety standards. This entry-level role offers hands-on pet care experience in a dynamic retail environment, with flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete PetSmart’s Splash training and safety certification.
- Perform full bath/brush services, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary shaves per company standards.
- Greet pet parents, manage check-in/out, reservations, and provide wellness recommendations.
- Ensure safe environments; handle sick/injured pets and transport to vet as needed.
- Maintain salon/store cleanliness and assist other departments.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have strong organizational skills, attention to safety, computer proficiency, and excellent communication. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, stooping in a wet, pet-hair-filled environment with moderate noise.
