Role Overview

As a Pet Bather in our Houston, Texas location, you'll deliver exceptional salon services, engage pet parents, and ensure pet safety. This entry-level role offers hands-on pet care experience in a dynamic retail environment, with flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete PetSmart’s Splash training and safety certification.
• Perform full bath/brush services, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary care per standards.
• Handle check-in/out, reservations, and pet parent interactions.
• Maintain salon/store cleanliness and recommend health/wellness solutions.
• Ensure safe environment; transport sick/injured pets to vet as needed.

Experience & Skills

No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have pet-handling passion, customer service skills, computer proficiency, and ability to lift 50+ lbs. Thrive in fast-paced settings with wet environments, pet hair, and moderate noise. Strong communication, organization, and composure under pressure essential.

Physical Demands

Stand/walk extensively, lift 50 lbs frequently (team lift 100+ lbs), climb ladders, stoop/kneel. Exposed to animals, water, mechanical parts.
