Role Overview
As a Pet Bather in our Houston, Texas location, you'll deliver exceptional grooming services while engaging pet parents. Uphold safety standards, recommend solutions, and contribute to store cleanliness. This entry-level role offers hands-on pet care experience with flexible scheduling.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete PetSmart’s Splash training and safety certification.
- Perform full bath/brush services, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary care per standards.
- Handle check-in/out, greet pet parents, manage reservations, and provide consultations.
- Ensure safe environment; report and transport sick/injured pets as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness, recommend products, and assist other departments.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have pet handling passion, customer service skills, computer proficiency, and flexibility for evenings/weekends/holidays. Must lift 50+ lbs, stand extensively, and thrive in pet-filled, fast-paced settings with moderate noise and wet conditions.
