Role Overview
As a Pet Bather in our Hurst, Texas location, you'll engage pet parents and their pets, delivering exceptional salon services like bathing, brushing, nail trims, and more. Uphold safety standards, recommend solutions, and contribute to store cleanliness in a dynamic pet retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete PetSmart’s Splash training and safety certification.
- Handle check-in/out, greet pet parents, answer questions, and manage reservations.
- Independently perform full bath/brush services and add-ons per company standards.
- Ensure safe environments, respond to sick/injured pets, and maintain cleanliness.
- Recommend wellness products/services and assist other departments as needed.
Experience & Skills
Entry-level role requiring computer proficiency, composure under pressure, flexible scheduling (evenings/weekends/holidays), organizational skills, and strong communication. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, and working in wet/noisy environments with animals.
