Role Overview
PetSmart's Professional Bather delivers exceptional grooming services, engages pet parents, and maintains salon standards. This entry-level role offers hands-on pet care experience in a dynamic retail environment, with opportunities to advance in pet services.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete PetSmart’s Splash training and perform full bath/brush services, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary care.
- Greet pet parents, handle reservations, check-in/out, and recommend wellness solutions.
- Ensure pet safety, respond to injuries, and maintain store cleanliness.
- Sell merchandise/services and assist other departments as needed.
- Follow policies and contribute to a culture of recognition.
Experience & Skills
Required Qualifications
- Computer proficiency and strong communication skills.
- Pressure-handling, organizational skills, and schedule flexibility.
- Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs, stand extensively, and work in wet/noisy environments with animals.
No prior experience required—training provided for motivated pet lovers.
