Role Overview

PetSmart's Professional Pet Bather delivers exceptional salon services, engages pet parents, and upholds safety standards. This entry-level role involves hands-on pet care, customer interactions, and maintaining a clean salon environment in a dynamic retail setting. Flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete Splash training and perform full bath/brush services, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary shaves per PetSmart standards.
• Greet pet parents, handle check-in/out, reservations, and recommend wellness solutions/merchandise.
• Ensure pet safety, respond to sick/injured pets by transporting to vet if needed, and maintain salon/store cleanliness.
• Assist other departments, follow policies, and contribute to a positive team culture.

Experience & Skills

No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have pet-handling passion, computer proficiency, strong communication, organizational skills, composure under pressure, and physical ability to lift 50+ lbs, stand/walk extensively, and work in wet/noisy environments with animals.
