Role Overview
As a Pet Bather in our Jacksonville, FL salon, you'll engage pet parents and their furry friends, delivering top-tier bath services while upholding safety and cleanliness. This entry-level role offers flexibility, hands-on pet care, and opportunities to advance in pet retail.
Key Responsibilities
- Master PetSmart’s Splash training for safe, professional bathing.
- Handle check-ins/outs, reservations, and consultations with pet parents.
- Perform full bath/brush, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary services.
- Recommend wellness solutions and sell merchandise based on pet needs.
- Maintain salon cleanliness and ensure a safe environment for pets, associates, and customers.
- Assist other departments and follow all company policies.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have strong communication, organizational skills, computer proficiency, and flexibility for evenings/weekends/holidays. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, stooping in a pet-filled, wet environment with moderate noise.
