Role Overview
PetSmart's Professional Pet Bather delivers exceptional salon services, engages pet parents, and maintains safety standards. This entry-level role in our Kelowna store involves hands-on pet care, customer interaction, and upholding our mission in a dynamic retail environment with live animals and grooming services.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete Splash training and safety certification.
- Handle check-in/out, reservations, and pet parent consultations.
- Perform bath/brush, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary services per standards.
- Ensure safe environments, respond to pet health issues, and maintain cleanliness.
- Recommend products/services and assist across departments.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have computer proficiency, composure under pressure, flexible scheduling, organizational skills, and strong communication. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, and working in wet, noisy settings with pets.
