Role Overview

PetSmart’s Professional Pet Bather delivers exceptional salon services, ensuring positive experiences for pets and pet parents. This entry-level role involves bathing, grooming tasks, customer engagement, and maintaining safety/cleanliness standards in a dynamic pet retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete Splash training and safety certification.
• Perform full bath/brush services, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary care per PetSmart standards.
• Handle check-in/out, reservations, and pet parent consultations in-person or via phone.
• Ensure safe environment; respond to sick/injured pets and transport to vet if needed.
• Maintain store cleanliness, recommend products, and assist other departments.

Experience & Skills

No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have computer proficiency, composure under pressure, flexible availability (evenings, weekends, holidays), organizational skills, and strong communication. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, and working in wet/noisy conditions with animals.
