Role Overview

PetSmart's Professional Pet Bather delivers exceptional salon services, engages pet parents, and upholds safety/cleanliness standards. This entry-level role in our Kingston store involves hands-on pet care, customer interactions, and contributing to a welcoming environment for pets with fur, feathers, or fins.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete Splash training and safety certification to perform bath/brush services, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary care per PetSmart standards.
• Greet pet parents, manage reservations, check-ins/outs, and recommend wellness solutions.
• Ensure pet safety, respond to sick/injured pets, and maintain salon/store cleanliness.
• Sell merchandise/services and assist other departments as needed.
• Participate in Belonging culture and follow all policies.

Experience & Skills

No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have computer proficiency, composure under pressure, schedule flexibility (evenings/weekends/holidays), organizational skills, attention to safety/detail, and strong communication. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, stooping in a pet hair/wet environment with moderate-high noise and live animal exposure.
