Role Overview
As a Pet Bather in our Knoxville, TN location, you'll deliver exceptional grooming services while engaging pet parents. This entry-level role emphasizes pet safety, salon excellence, and customer satisfaction in a fast-paced retail environment. Perfect for animal enthusiasts seeking flexible hours and rewarding interactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete PetSmart’s Splash training and safety certification.
- Perform full bath/brush services, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary care per company standards.
- Handle check-in/out, reservations, and pet parent consultations.
- Maintain salon/store cleanliness and recommend health/wellness products.
- Ensure safe environment; transport sick/injured pets to vet as needed.
Experience & Skills
No prior grooming experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have strong organizational skills, attention to safety, computer proficiency, and flexibility for evenings/weekends/holidays. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, and working in wet/noisy pet environments. Excellent communication and composure under pressure essential.
