Role Overview
PetSmart's Professional Bather delivers exceptional salon services, engages pet parents, and upholds safety standards. This entry-level role in our vibrant Lake Nona store involves hands-on pet care, customer interactions, and maintaining a clean environment amid a fast-paced, pet-filled workspace.
Key Responsibilities
- Master PetSmart’s Splash training for safe bathing procedures.
- Execute full bath/brush services, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary care.
- Handle check-ins/outs, reservations, and pet parent consultations in-person or via phone.
- Monitor pet health, act on injuries/illnesses, and ensure a secure salon.
- Recommend wellness products, sell services, and assist across departments.
- Maintain cleanliness and participate in our Belonging culture.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates thrive under pressure, stay organized, communicate effectively, and handle physical demands like lifting 50+ lbs, standing, stooping in a wet, noisy, pet-hair-filled environment. Flexible availability for evenings, weekends, holidays essential. Computer proficiency needed.
