Role Overview

As a Pet Bather in our Lake Park, Florida location, you'll engage pet parents and pets, delivering exceptional salon services like baths, brush-outs, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary care. Uphold PetSmart's vision by ensuring safety, cleanliness, and positive outcomes while recommending wellness solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete PetSmart’s Splash training and safety certification.
• Handle check-in/out, greet pet parents, manage reservations, and provide consultations.
• Independently perform full grooming services per company standards.
• Maintain safe environments, respond to sick/injured pets, and assist with vet transport.
• Recommend merchandise/services, ensure store cleanliness, and support other departments.

Experience & Skills

No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have strong organizational skills, attention to safety, computer proficiency, and flexibility for evenings, weekends, holidays. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, stooping in a wet, pet-hair-filled environment with moderate noise and live animal exposure. Excellent communication essential.
