Role Overview

As a Pet Bather in our Lake Wales, Florida location, you'll deliver exceptional salon services while engaging pet parents. This entry-level role emphasizes pet safety, customer satisfaction, and upholding PetSmart's vision through professional bathing, brushing, and wellness recommendations.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete PetSmart’s Splash training and safety certification.
• Perform full menu of bath/brush services, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary care per company standards.
• Handle check-in/out, reservations, and pet parent consultations in-person or via phone.
• Maintain safe environments, respond to sick/injured pets, and transport to vets as needed.
• Recommend merchandise/services, ensure store cleanliness, and assist other departments.

Experience & Skills

No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have strong organizational skills, attention to safety, computer proficiency, and flexibility for evenings, weekends, holidays. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, stooping in a pet hair-filled, wet environment with moderate noise and live animal exposure. Excellent communication essential.
