Role Overview
As a Pet Bather in Lakeland, Florida, you'll engage pet parents and pets, delivering salon services like baths, brushes, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary care per PetSmart standards. Uphold safety, cleanliness, and our vision while recommending solutions for pet health and wellness.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete Splash training and safety certification.
- Handle check-in/out, reservations, greet pet parents, answer questions.
- Perform full menu of bath services independently.
- Ensure safe environment; act on sick/injured pets, transport to vet if needed.
- Maintain store cleanliness, sell merchandise/services, assist other departments.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—training provided. Need proficiency in computers, composure under pressure, flexible schedule (evenings/weekends/holidays), organizational skills, attention to safety/detail, strong communication. Physical demands: lift 50lbs (team lift 100lbs+), stand/walk, handle pets in wet/hairy/noisy environment.
