Role Overview

As a Pet Bather in our Lakewood, Colorado store, you'll engage pet parents and their pets, delivering exceptional salon services while upholding PetSmart's vision, mission, and safety standards. Share responsibility for store cleanliness and recommend wellness solutions. This entry-level role offers flexibility, development, and the joy of working with animals.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete PetSmart’s Splash training and safety certification.
• Handle check-in/out, reservations, and pet parent consultations in-person or by phone.
• Independently perform full bath/brush services, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary shaves per company standards.
• Ensure safe environments; act on sick/injured pets, including vet transport.
• Maintain cleanliness, recommend/sell merchandise/services, and assist other departments.

Experience & Skills

No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have computer proficiency, composure under pressure, flexible scheduling (evenings, weekends, holidays), organizational skills, attention to safety/detail, and strong communication. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing/walking, exposure to wet environments, pet hair, noise, and live animals. Depth perception required; accommodations available.
