Role Overview
As a Pet Bather in our Lancaster, Pennsylvania store, you'll deliver exceptional grooming services while ensuring positive pet parent experiences. This entry-level role involves bathing, brushing, nail trims, and more, upholding PetSmart's high standards for pet safety and salon excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete Splash training and safety certification.
- Perform full menu of bath services independently per company standards.
- Handle check-in/out, reservations, and pet parent consultations.
- Maintain safe environments and respond to pet health issues.
- Recommend products/services and keep salon/store clean.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have strong communication, organizational skills, computer proficiency, and flexibility for evenings/weekends/holidays. Must lift 50+ lbs, handle pets in wet/noisy environments, and stay composed under pressure.
