Role Overview

The Pet Bather role delivers exceptional salon services, engages pet parents, and upholds safety standards. You'll bathe, brush, trim nails, and more, while recommending wellness solutions and maintaining a clean, safe environment. This entry-level position suits animal lovers ready to thrive in a dynamic pet retail setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete PetSmart’s Splash training and safety certification.
• Handle check-in/out, reservations, and pet parent interactions.
• Perform full grooming services per company standards.
• Identify and address sick/injured pets, transporting to vet if needed.
• Maintain salon/store cleanliness and assist other departments.

Physical Demands

Expect standing, lifting up to 50lbs (team lift 100lbs+), working in wet/hairy environments with moderate-high noise and live animals.

Experience & Skills

No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have computer proficiency, composure under pressure, flexible scheduling, organizational skills, and strong communication. Passion for pets and safety focus essential.
