Role Overview
The Pet Bather role is perfect for animal lovers who thrive in a fast-paced salon setting. You'll deliver top-tier bathing services, engage with pet parents, and uphold PetSmart's commitment to pet safety and wellness. This entry-level position offers hands-on experience with flexible scheduling.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete PetSmart’s Splash training and safety certification.
- Perform full grooming services including baths, brushes, nail trims, and sanitary care.
- Handle check-in/out, reservations, and customer inquiries.
- Maintain a clean, safe salon environment and assist across store departments.
- Recommend health products and ensure pet welfare, including vet transport if needed.
Experience & Skills
No prior grooming experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have strong communication, organizational skills, computer proficiency, and comfort lifting 50+ lbs in a pet-filled, sometimes noisy/wet workspace. Flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays is essential.
