Role Overview
As a Pet Bather in our Layton, Utah salon, you'll deliver exceptional grooming services while engaging pet parents. Uphold safety standards, recommend solutions, and contribute to store cleanliness. This entry-level role offers hands-on pet care experience with room for advancement.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete PetSmart’s Splash training and safety certification.
- Perform bath/brush services, nail trims, teeth brushing per company standards.
- Handle check-in/out, reservations, and pet parent interactions.
- Ensure safe environment; transport injured pets to vet if needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and assist other departments as required.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have strong organizational skills, attention to safety, and flexibility for evenings/weekends/holidays. Proficiency in computers, composure under pressure, and excellent communication are essential. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, and working in wet/noisy pet environments.
