Role Overview
As a Pet Bather, deliver exceptional salon services while engaging pet parents. Uphold safety standards, recommend wellness solutions, and maintain a clean environment. Ideal for animal lovers seeking entry-level pet care roles with flexible scheduling.
Key Responsibilities
Core Salon Duties
- Independently perform baths, brushes, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary services per PetSmart standards.
- Handle check-in/out procedures and salon reservations.
Customer & Pet Care
- Greet pet parents, answer questions, and recommend health solutions.
- Ensure safe environment; transport sick/injured pets to vet as needed.
- Sell merchandise and services to enhance pet wellness.
Store Support
- Maintain cleanliness standards and assist other departments.
- Follow all policies, complete Splash training certification.
Experience & Skills
Entry-level role requiring pet passion, no prior experience needed. Must have computer proficiency, strong communication, organizational skills, and composure under pressure. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, and exposure to wet/hairy environments with animals.
