Role Overview

PetSmart's Professional Pet Bather delivers exceptional salon services, engages pet parents, and upholds safety standards. This entry-level role in our Littleton store involves hands-on pet care, customer interactions, and maintaining a clean, safe environment amid a dynamic pet retail setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete Splash training and perform full bath/brush, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary services per PetSmart standards.
• Greet pet parents, handle check-in/out, reservations, and recommend health/wellness solutions.
• Ensure pet safety, report and transport sick/injured pets, and maintain salon/store cleanliness.
• Sell merchandise/services and assist other departments as needed.
• Follow all policies while fostering a culture of recognition.

Experience & Skills

No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have computer proficiency, composure under pressure, schedule flexibility (evenings/weekends/holidays), organizational skills, and strong communication. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing/walking, exposure to wet/hairy environments, moderate-high noise, and animal handling. Depth perception and team lifting essential.
