Role Overview
As a Pet Bather in our Liverpool, NY salon, you'll deliver exceptional grooming services, engage pet parents, and ensure pet safety. This entry-level role offers hands-on experience in pet care while contributing to store success through top-tier customer service and salon standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete PetSmart Splash training and perform full bath/brush, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary services.
- Handle check-in/out, greet pet parents, answer questions, and manage reservations.
- Maintain cleanliness, recommend products/services, and ensure safe environments for pets, associates, and customers.
- Respond to sick/injured pets and assist across departments as needed.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have pet-handling passion, customer service skills, computer proficiency, and flexibility for evenings/weekends/holidays. Must lift 50+ lbs, stand extensively, and thrive in dynamic, pet-filled settings with moderate noise and wet conditions.
