Role Overview
The Pet Bather role is perfect for animal lovers who thrive in a fast-paced salon setting. You'll deliver top-tier bathing services, engage with pet parents, and ensure a safe, clean space. This entry-level position offers hands-on experience with pets and flexible scheduling for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete PetSmart’s Splash training and safety certification.
- Perform full bath/brush services, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary care per company standards.
- Handle check-in/out, reservations, and consultations with pet parents.
- Maintain salon/store cleanliness and recommend wellness products.
- Monitor pet health, respond to emergencies, and assist other departments as needed.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have strong organizational skills, attention to safety, computer proficiency, and excellent communication. Physical demands include lifting up to 50 lbs (team lift over 100 lbs), standing, and working in a wet, pet-filled environment with moderate noise.
