Role Overview
As a Pet Bather at PetSmart in Manteca, CA, you'll deliver exceptional salon services while engaging pet parents. Uphold safety standards, recommend wellness solutions, and contribute to store cleanliness. This entry-level role offers hands-on pet care experience with flexible scheduling.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete PetSmart’s Splash training and safety certification.
- Perform full bath/brush services, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary care per standards.
- Handle check-in/out, reservations, and pet parent interactions.
- Ensure safe environments; transport sick pets to vets as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and assist other departments.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have pet-handling passion, computer proficiency, strong communication, organizational skills, and composure under pressure. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, and exposure to wet/hair-filled environments with animals.
