Role Overview
PetSmart's Professional Bather delivers exceptional salon services, engages pet parents, and upholds safety/cleanliness standards. This entry-level role suits animal lovers with flexible schedules, offering meaningful impact through grooming that wags tails and delights owners.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete Splash training and safety certification.
- Perform full bath/brush, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary services per standards.
- Handle check-in/out, reservations, and pet parent consultations.
- Ensure safe environments; respond to sick/injured pets.
- Maintain cleanliness, recommend products, and assist other departments.
Experience & Skills
No prior grooming experience required—training provided. Need computer proficiency, pressure composure, schedule flexibility (evenings/weekends/holidays), organizational detail, and strong communication. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, wet/hairy environments, and animal handling.
