Role Overview
As a Pet Bather in our Marietta, Georgia location, you'll engage pet parents and their pets, delivering exceptional salon services while upholding PetSmart's vision, mission, values, and safety standards. Share responsibility for store cleanliness and pet wellness recommendations.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete PetSmart’s Splash training and safety certification.
- Handle pet parent experiences: greet, answer questions, manage reservations, check-in/out.
- Perform full menu of bath/brush services, nail trims, teeth brushing, sanitary services per standards.
- Ensure safe environment; act on sick/injured pets, transport to vet as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness, recommend/sell merchandise/services, assist other departments.
Experience & Skills
Entry-level role requiring proficiency in computer applications, composure under pressure, flexible scheduling (evenings, weekends, holidays), organizational skills, attention to detail/safety, and strong communication. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing/walking, exposure to wet environments, pet hair, noise, and live animals.
