Role Overview

PetSmart's Professional Pet Bather delivers exceptional grooming services, engages pet parents, and upholds safety standards. This entry-level role in our Marion store involves hands-on pet care, customer interactions, and maintaining a clean salon space. Ideal for animal lovers seeking flexible hours and career advancement.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete Splash training and perform full bath/brush services, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary shaves per PetSmart standards.
• Greet pet parents, handle check-in/out, reservations, and recommend wellness products.
• Ensure pet safety, report injuries, and transport to vet if necessary.
• Maintain salon/store cleanliness and assist other departments as needed.
• Follow all policies while fostering a culture of recognition.

Experience & Skills

No prior grooming experience required—training provided. Successful candidates demonstrate pet affinity, customer service skills, computer proficiency, composure under pressure, organizational detail, and schedule flexibility (evenings, weekends, holidays). Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, and working in a pet-filled environment.
